Lava IRIS 405 And Iris 455 Launched; Prices Start At Rs 7500
Android 4.1-Based dual-core Jelly Bean smartphones sport dual cameras, and 4 GB of internal storage.
Lava has launched two handsets running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) — Iris 455 and Iris 405. Of these, the Iris 455 was announced last month, while the Iris 405 has been unveiled yesterday. Both the devices are powered by dual-core 1 GHz CPUs and have 4 GB of internal storage. While the Iris 455 has a 4.5" qHD display, the Iris 405 has a smaller 4" WVGA screen. Both support GSM dual-SIM dual standby feature. The imaging comprises two cameras: 5 mp rear with LED flash and 0.3 mp front. Here is the specifications list for the two handsets:

Apps such as Saavn and Fusion for music, Hike, Facebook, etc come pre-loaded on the handsets. Users can also access Lava Zone, which is Lava's own application store to download videos, songs, and wallpapers. The Lava Iris 455 and Iris 405 are available for Rs 8700 and Rs 7500 respectively.
