Genius Launches Ring Presenter
An innovative thumb controlled presentation tool.
Genius has launched a new thumb controlled presentation device known as the Ring Presenter. The company claims that it is the world's first ring style touch cursor controller and aims to market it to the consumer segments including business, travel, and education. This is a lightweight device with a ring-style control button, allowing it to even function as a mouse by means of a hardware control mode switch. Users can control PowerPoint presentation slides and also control the cursor movements.
Being a tiny device, it can be used for browsing the internet and documents at locations such as the bus, plane, train, or school. Powered by a tiny Li-ion rechargeable battery, it works on the 2.4 GHz technology for wireless communication with its dongle attached to the computer. The inbuilt laser pointer can work up to a claimed distance of 10 meters. A good thing is that it works with Windows as well as Mac. It is available in blue, gold, pink, purple, and green.
The Genius Ring Presenter can be yours at $70 (Rs 3600) and comes with a 3-year warranty.
