Facebook Home Now Available For Indian Android Users
Get the social networking giant's UI on your Android handset now.
Facebook Home, which has been launched recently with much fanfare, is now available for download in India via the Google Play store. The user interface was initially available only to users located in the United States. With this, Indian users can also comment, update, like posts, and even chat, from anywhere in their handset, without launching any app.
While the skin is currently compatible only with HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung GALAXY S3, and GALAXY Note 2 devices, all of which run Android 4.0 and above, there are reports of the UI running on some of the latest smartphones such as the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 in the US. Apart from the Chat Heads and Messenger, Facebook's Home for Android also brings Cover Feed, Notifications and App Launcher to users.
