Amazon Appstore For Android To Come To India Soon
Will be rolled out in 200 countries, company has also encouraged developers from several regions to submit apps for the repository.
Those who were stuck without legit app support on their Kindle Fire tablets in our country will soon have some reason to cheer. Amazon has decided to expand support for its app repository to users in 200 countries including India. Apps from developers registered on the store will be available for download globally, unless designated otherwise.
Apart from this, Amazon has also requested developers from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, India, South Africa, South Korea, Papua New Guinea, and Vatican City to submit their contributions. These apps will be available with the Amazon Appstore for Android, when it is rolls out internationally. Once in place, we can soon assume other Kindle devices to reach Indian shores as well. For now though, we can only wait and watch how well it competes with Google's Play store in India.
