Nokia Launches X2-02
An affordable dual-SIM device for music lovers.
Nokia has launched a new affordable phone, the Nokia X2-02. While the X2-02 looks similar to its sibling X1-01, the former is based on the Series 40 platform as opposed to the Series 30 on the latter. The highlight of this dual-SIM mobile will be its hot-swappable external SIM slot.
The phone measures 4.4" (l) x 2" (w) x 0.6" (d) and weighs 93 grammes. It sports a 2.2" screen with 240x320 pixels and a 2 MP camera. For music buffs it's packed with an mp3 player, dedicated music keys, and 32 GB microSD card slot. The device is loaded with Facebook and Twitter clients to please social network junkies. Other websites are taken care of by the Nokia Browser, which reportedly compresses data by up to 90%.
The phone is expected to cost around 60 euros (approx Rs 4000) and users can choose from red, silver, orange, violet, and blue. However, there's no word on its availability as of now.
