Yet another location tracker app that aims to keep women safe.
After a slew of location tracking apps that are out there to help women, here yet another one added to the list for Android unders. Like other apps in the genre, it covers all the usual bases: It sends out SOS text messages to 10 pre-fed numbers, along with current location details; make a call to one emergency number; and updates your Facebook status message with a distress message. The one differentiator is that it sounds a loud alarm that can only be shut off by removing the handset's battery.
Another interesting thing about is that you can run the app by hitting the power button three times after installing it on your phone. Let's just hope this is more effective than the FightBack app we reviewed a while back.
