Rovio, which has several hit smartphone game titles including Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, and Amazing Alex has brought out a new game called The Croods. Based on an upcoming animated flick by DreamWorks Animation, the app revolves around a family of cavemen which Rovio describes as "breaking out of the Stone Age with the use of a new r-evolutionary tool: the IDEA!" Through the game, you need to collect resources to build devices that offer access a new area, trap and tame 10 interesting creatures and basically survive out in the wild. Although the game is free to download, watch out for in-app purchases.
