Flickr On iOS Now Supports Hashtags
Instagram-styled addition will help users keep track of trends on the website.
As Facebook contemplates introducing Twitter-style hashtags, the Flickr app on iOS has actually brought the feature for its users. Similar to Instagram, Flickr users can use keywords with a # symbol to describe their shots, or even keep an eye out on trending topics. Apart from bug fixes, the rehashed app also makes way for Flickr's weekly photo challenge through the app. Users need to post pictures with the #FlickrFriday hashtag to enter. Theme details and other information can be found here.
In its earlier major update, Yahoo! added 16 custom camera filters, a 500 px-style justified layout to make the most of your iDevice's screen width, and in-app editing of pictures, alongside geo-tagging. The app also supports sharing shots via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or via emails, apart from Flickr groups. To download the free app for devices running iOS 4.3 or higher, head here.
