Apple iTunes 11.0.2 Out For Download: What's New?
Available for Mac and Windows, 64-bit architectures as well, the latest iTunes version 11.0.2 can be downloaded from Apple's official site.
Apple iTunes 11.0.2 was released this week, available for download on Mac and Windows (32 and 64-bit architecture Windows installers, ~85 MB file size). This time around, the updated iTunes is claimed to offer the following six enhancements:
Improved Search: Search results within the iTunes library can be obtained by just typing in the search field, but is now quicker.
New Mini Player: It has a smaller, compact design and includes album art and a new "Up Next" feature, apart from the usual playing of tracks.
Up Next Feature: Enables you to view songs that are slated to play after a particular track is playing, or has finished playing.
Redesigned iTunes Store: The store enables users to listen to music, view TV shows and explore what's new. "You'll love the beautiful edge-to-edge design, custom designs for each album, movie, or TV show in your library, and getting personal recommendations any time you click In the Store", says Apple.
New features in 11.0.2 are claimed to give users a fulfilling music experience
Composers View for music: Improves the responsiveness and process of syncing playlists. The feature also offers fixes for bugs that stopped "Purchases" from getting displayed in the iTunes library.
iCloud is claimed to have been given prominence in the 11.0.2 update
Play Purchases from iCloud: It is an iCloud feature and enables playing of music, movie, and TV show purchases.
