Beetel Launches Inexpensive Touchscreen Phone
Handset with 2.8" screen costs just Rs 2850.
Beetel Teletech has launched the GD470 dual-SIM handset with a 2.8" 240x320 touchscreen display. While the handset carries an MRP of Rs 3300, but is currently being offered for even less at just Rs 2850, making it one of the least expensive touchscreen handsets.
The GD470 sports an attractive and stylish design with rounded corners and edges and weighs just 93 g. It comes with a 1.3 MP camera, FM Radio, and supports up to 8 GB storage capacity via memory card. Some of its other features include Bluetooth, and the ability to play various video formats such as 3GP, AVI, and MP4, in addition to popular music formats. It features Beetel World packed with a number of social networking and infotainment features such as Facebook, Snaptu, Mig 33, Yahoo, ibibo, Vuclip, Reuters, Hungama, and Penguin. An Indian calendar along with festival and Tithi dates is also included. The 1000 mAh battery claims to provide battery backup for 3-4 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.
