Rumour: Apple iPad mini 2 To Feature Retina Display
The pixel density at that screen size would make the iPad 2's display better than all other Apple devices.
The next instalment of Apple's hugely famous iPad mini, the iPad Mini 2 will feature a Retina Display, reports BrightWire according to its Taiwanese sources. According to the source, the 7.9-inch screen to be used in the Apple iPad mini 2 has entered production.
The resolution of 2048x1536 pixels would make it a Retina Display, with a pixel density of 324 pixels per inch. If confirmed, this would lead to the new iPad mini 2 having a better display aspect in comparison to the current iPad mini.
In fact, such high density at that screen size would make the display in the next generation of the iPad Mini better than all of Apple's other devices.
