Android 4.0 Intex I-Buddy 7.2 Tablet Available On Snapdeal.com For Rs 5500
ICS tablet features a 7" screen, 0.3 mp front camera, 4 GB of internal storage, and external 3G dongle support.
No matter how crowded the budget tablet segment gets, it doesn't stop manufacturers from releasing new products. The only Intex tablet I have reviewed is the i-Tab, which came with a pair of sunglasses (I still haven't figured out why) and featured a super-tacky design. However, its latest slate, the I-Buddy 7.2, looks quite decent. While its official product page isn't live yet, the gadget is already selling on Snapdeal.com. Judging by the specs, the only difference between this slate and its predecessor, the I-Buddy 7, is in its looks.
For starters, the I-Buddy 7.2 features Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and is powered by a 1 GHz CPU. Its 7" capacitive touchscreen has pixel dimensions of 800x480. Here is a detailed list of its specs:

- Allwinner A13 chipset with 1GHz Cortex-A8 CPU, Mali-400 GPU, 512 MB of DDR 3 RAM.

- Supported Video: MP4, AVI, WMV, MKV, RM, RMVB, FLV, VOB, MOV, 3GP.
- Supported Audio: MP3, WMA, AAC, AMR.
- 2800 mAh lithium polymer battery.
- 7.6" (l) x 4.7" (w) x 0.5" (13 mm) (d), Approx 330 grammes.
- Android 4.0 (ICS), Adobe Flash Player 11 support; Comes with Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, and Cut The Rope.
- Package Contents: USB cable, Power adapter, Earphones, OTG Cable, User manual, Warranty Card.
According to the listing, the I-Buddy 7.2 comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Currently priced at Rs 5500, the tablet is only available on Snapdeal.com.
