Do you enjoy watching live TV on your iPhone using popular app nexGTV? The good news is, there's an even better tool available in the iTunes App Store that not only streams live TV, but also allows you to record it in real-time. If you overlook the shady name, India TV Pro - India Live TV is actually a quality app loaded with features such as a sleep timer and an option to update the channel list over the air.

The software works very well with 3G and broadband Wi-Fi connections. I haven't tested it on EDGE, but then again, I can't imagine an iPhone user being unable to afford 3G. It offers a lengthy list of channels including AajTak, Colors, DD National, MTV India, India TV, Channel [V], Star Plus, B4u Music, Headlines Today, Star Music, Firangi TV, 9X MUSIC, UTV Bindas, Sony SetMax, Sahara One, FTV, and UTV Movies.

The utility is compatible with both the iPhone and iPad for iOS 3.2 and above. However, it does not work on the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, and first \ second generation iPod touch. Check out the gallery below for more screenshots.
