Arranges 30 recent tweets in a circle, with a retweet indicator that tells you about trending topics.
The iTunes App Store has several nice third-party Twitter clients, all of them offering similar features: listing tweets in your stream, letting you reply or retweet them, and sending private direct messages (DM). However, the twheel app comes across as a refreshing change. It arranges 30 of the newest tweets from your feed in a neat circle, with unread ones marked in orange and read messages in blue. A white bar indicates the number of retweets according to its length; thus, a longer bar marks out a trending topic.
To read a tweet, just tap on it and you will be presented with an option to reply, retweet, send a DM, mark as favourite, view other tweets from the user, open links, and follow its hashtags. Overall, the app ensures you don’t miss out on the most recent activity in your feed. However, it does not support multiple Twitter accounts. Check out the gallery for more screenshots.
