Travel portal launches dedicated app for iOS users; lets you book tickets, make payments, and view your itinerary.
A sudden family get together, a business trip, or a quick weekend getaway doesn't really give you a lot of time for planning and preparation. For most people, five minutes during lunch break is all they can manage in their daily schedules. That's where your mobile device can come in handy. In a bid to increase the convenience factor, travel portals have started to offer their services across multiple platforms. Close on the heels of rival MakeMyTrip.com's debut on iOS, Cleartrip.com has launched its own app for iDevices. Sporting a clean and easily navigable interface, this tool lets you book flight tickets, check your travel plans, and make payments using a credit card, debit card, or via netbanking. While there is still no app specifically created for Android, users can download a Windows Phone version, or visit Cleartrip's mobile-friendly website for now.
