The Google Pixel Watch has shown up in leaked marketing pictures

Google acquired Fitbit earlier this year in order to develop its own smart watch

The Google Pixel Watch will supposedly sport a round minimalistic structurural design, with no physical bezels around the side of the screen.

The device has basic fitness trackers like the step counter, steps climbed on a staircase, and a 24/7 heart rate monitor. 

All these features are there on Fitbit smartwatches but now that Google owns Fitbit, we expect an upgraded version to hit the market.

Just like the Apple Watch, the Pixel Watch will have 20 different proprietary wrist bands, which means that a large number of accessories will also be available. 

But the Pixel Watch may require overnight charging because it supposedly charges very slowly. The device is in the final stages of development, with internal staff testing the beta software for bugs.

The Pixel Watch faces heavy competition, especially from the Apple Watch that has been honed and refined through seven generations and has become a genuinely practical gadget, and stylish too.
