Bitcoin has enhanced privacy and security with its new update

This is Bitcoin's first major network change since 2017.

Bitcoin just gone though a major upgrade. Bitcoin network rolled out the "Taproot" code upgrade early today after working on it for a long time. The update improves security and privacy for complicated transactions through new signatures and these signatures will now look like any other exchange. Agents of theft will now have a harder time identifying when a transfer is taking place.

The Taproot update should also change the Bitcoin network's scaling by dropping the existing cryptographic system. It might be easier for the cryptocurrency to handle demand.

This is the first major refresh of the network code's since 2017, and it is certainly well-timed. While there are those who object to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, it now has potential users ranging from AMC to El Salvador. This upgrade could help Bitcoin welcome newcomers, and reduce hassles for everyone.
