Samsung Launches The Galaxy Tab S5e And Tab A 10.1 In India

Samsung has launched two new tablets in India. The new line-up comprises of the Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1. The Galaxy Tab S5e is a premium tablet. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is meant for budget buyers.
 
The Galaxy Tab S5e features a 5.5mm sleek metal body. It weighs 400 grams, which is quite light for a 10.5-inch tablet. It has a Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. Compared to most tablets, the Tab S5e comes to offer significantly thin bezels. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 82%. The tablet houses four speakers that adapt to how you hold the tablet. The Tab S5e also features Dolby Atmos integration with sound by AKG. The tablet comes with a 7,040 mAh battery with quick-charging technology.
 
 
The S5e is powered by the Snapdragon 670 chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It also houses a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The tablet sports a dual camera 13 MP + 8 MP at the back. For video calls, you can make use of the 5 MP front-facing camera. The tablet comes with face recognition and fingerprint scanner for security. It can be turned into a 2-in-1 computer with DeX mode. It comes with an optional keyboard accessory. You can send and receive cellular calls and text messages right from the Tab S5e.
 
The budget Galaxy Tab A 10.1 also comes with a metal unibody design. However, at 7.5 mm, it is thicker than the Tab S5e. The tablet comes with a 10.1-inch Full HD display. The Tab A 10.1 houses dual speakers and also supports Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound.
 
 
The Tab A 10.1 is powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 7904 chipset. It has 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The tablet comes with an 8 MP rear camera at the back. For selfies, there's a 5 MP front shooter. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 holds a 6,150 mAh battery. Samsung has added Kids Home feature to the Tab A 10.1. It lets parents monitor kids' playtime.
 
Both Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A10.1 come in silver, black and gold. The Wi-Fi-only variant of Galaxy Tab S5e is priced at Rs 35,999, while the Wi-Fi + LTE variant is priced at Rs 39,999. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Wi-Fi variant costs Rs 14,999, while the Wi-Fi + LTE variant is priced at Rs 19,999.
