Coolpad Launches Budget M3 Smartphone In China

The MT6750 chip powered phone features a 5.8-inch HD+ screen.

 

Coolpad is back with another budget handset. Dubbed as the Coolpad M3, this smartphone offers the currently trending notch display design.
 
The M3 sports a 5.8-inch HD+ screen. The panel has a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by MediaTek's MT6750 chipset. You get 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
 
Coolpad has thrown in a 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera at the back. For selfies, you get a 5 MP snapper. The phone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. According to the company, it can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.
 
The M3 runs Android 8 Oreo out-of-the-box. It packs in 2800 mAh battery. Currently, it is only available in China at a price of 799 yuan (approx. Rs 8,200). There's no word on its global release yet.
