Mobiistar CQ: A Dirt-Cheap Smartphone That Punches Above Its Weight
The handset finds a fine balance between the price and performance.
Vietnamese brand Mobiistar has entered the Indian smartphone market. Its handset CQ is an entry-level smartphone that finds a fine balance between the price and performance.
For starters, it is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 chipset. The phone offers 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Mobiistar offers dual SIM support and a dedicated microSD card slot. This means that you don't have to choose between storage expansion and secondary SIM.
The phone has a 5-inch HD screen, which is good enough for the entry-level segment. Since the selfie craze refuses to die out, the company has thrown in a 13 MP front facing camera. The rear camera does not get much love and has to settle for an 8 MP module.
The Mobiistar CQ is 4G VoLTE compatible. It packs in 3000 mAh battery. On the software side of things, it runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box. The is priced at Rs 4999 and will retail on Flipkart starting from May 30.
