Honor 7A And 7C Take On Xiaomi's Budget Redmi Line-Up

The Honor duo offers thin-bezel design and dual cameras on budget.

 

Huawei has added two new members to its Honor 7 line-up. Dubbed as the Honor 7A and 7C, these handsets compete with Xiaomi's sub-10k smartphones. The duo offers thin-bezel design as opposed to the dated layout of Xiaomi phones.
 
First up, the Honor 7A sports a 5.7-inch HD screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 chipset. The phone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. You get dual SIM support and a dedicated microSD card slot. Another high point is the dual camera setup that comprises of 13 MP and 2 MP sensors. For selfies, you get an 8 MP snapper with an LED flash. It is a 4G VoLTE compatible phone with 3000 mAh battery.

 
The Honor 7C comes with a bigger 6-inch HD screen. The tall panel has aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is backed by Snapdragon 450 chipset. It comes in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variants. Based on the variant, you get 64 GB or 256 GB internal storage. There's a expandable storage slot too.
 
 
On the photography front, you get a 13 MP rear camera with a 2 MP depth sensor to keep it company. Selfies are taken care of by an 8 MP front-facing snapper.
 
The Honor 7A and 7C run Android 8 with Huawei's EMUI 8 on top. The Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available explcusively via Flipkart. The Honor 7C with 3 GB RAM is set to cost Rs 9,999. The 4 GB variant will set you back for 11,999. This handset will be available only via Amazon.
