With the month of August coming to an end, the anticipation among Apple fans is growing, as the company has not yet announced officially about the launch of iPhone 8.

By looking at the Cupertino giant’s launch history, it is evident that the company is known to launch smartphones during the first week of September. However, this time, the company seems to be not making any noise about the upcoming launch.

But, fret not. There are recent rumours that are surfacing, giving hints at the iPhone 8 launch date. Accordingly, the reports suggest that the Apple iPhone 8, which is said to be the Anniversary Edition phone, will be unveiled at an event expected to be hosted on Sept 12.

According to a post published on Gadgets360, the rumoured date comes in a report by Mac4Ever, citing carrier sources, suggesting that its sources have been already informed about the launch date in order to prepare for marketing. If this rumour turns out to be true, we can expect the smartphone to be available for pre-order on Sept 15 and will likely be available for purchase on Sept 22.

It is worth noting that, Apple has not yet announced any information officially. However, this rumour can be looked upon considering the company’s traditional rollout pattern, though there is no guarantee that the company would be following its traditional format this year as well.
