Xiaomi Launches Mi Max 2 In India For Rs 16,999

The smartphone comes in a Matte Black color scheme which is claimed to be India exclusive.

 

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has finally launched its much spoken-about smartphone, the Mi Max 2 at an event held yesterday in New Delhi.

As far as the technical specifications are concerned, the Mi Max 2 comes with a 6.44 inch FHD display along with 5,300 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM, and 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, which are claimed to be its highlights.

It also brings a 2.5D curved glass with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 5 MP front facing camera with real-time beautification options, and 64 GB of internal storage. It also supports USB Type C, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and 4G VoLTE.

All these, come at a price of Rs 16,999 and will be available for purchase online and offline. However, it is also said to first go on a sale online on Thursday, July 20 at 12 PM. And then, starting from July 27, the smartphone will be made available both online and via offline stores like Sangeetha, Croma, Poorvika, etc.

Having said this, it is worth noting that Xiaomi has launched only one of the two variants that were originally unveiled in its home country.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be available in a Matte Black color option which is claimed to be India exclusive. And, adding further, the device would be made in India.
