Leaked Japanese Video Reportedly Shows Next iPhone's Front Panel
Appears to show a taller glass screen with changed aspect ratio; FaceTime camera has been moved to near the top.
For the first time, a leaked video purportedly showing the front panel of the next iPhone has surfaced, and this time it is from Japan. The video published by the Japanese Apple blog Macotakara appears to show a noticeably taller glass screen, meaning that the aspect ratio is different. Also noticeable, is the front FaceTime camera's location that has been shifted towards the top, in very much the same way as that of the iPad. However, you will be disappointed if you are expecting to see the new device in action, because the device itself doesn't appear in the 43-second clip.
The front panel is compared with the iPhone 4S in the video, and shows it to be slightly wider. Earlier reports had suggested that the new iPhone could sport 4" displays. It must be noted that the iPhone's screen has retained its original size since its inception, and with several competitors sporting larger screen sizes it is probably time to move on to a larger display.
