Micromax Yu Launches Yureka Black In India For Rs 8,999

The smartphone comes in two color variants of black while it features few interesting software features.

 

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax’s subsidiary company Yu Televentures has launched its yet another Yureka smartphone, the Yureka Black, after a short break, for a price tag of Rs 8,999.

It comes in two color vairants — Chrome Black and Matte Black, and will be going on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting from June 6.

As far as the technical specifications go, the Yu Yureka Black comes with a 5 inch FHD IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it, while being powered by a 1.4 GHz oct-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with a 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

It also features a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8 MP front facing camera. The device also packs a 3,000 mAh battery which cannot be removed.

The Yu Yureka Black runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and features a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button itself.

Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro USB, and GPS, while sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The smartphone also comes with a couple of interesting software features like taking screenshots by sliding three fingers, one-handed-mode, full page screenshots, flip the phone to mute an incoming call, lift phone to call a contact, and more.
