Redmi 4 To Go On Sale Today In India At Noon

The smartphone comes in three variants and is exclusively available on Amazon India.

 

We all know that Xiaomi announced its new smartphone, the Redmi 4 in India, last week, mentioning that it would go on sale exclusively on Amazon India e-commerce portal. Well, today is the day. The smartphone would be available for purchase in India starting 12 noon.

Redmi 4 which is basically the same smartphone as Redmi 4X that was launched in China earlier this year, comes in three variants in India with slight differences based on their memory.

The 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM variant comes at Rs 6,999, while the 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB ROM variants come at Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively.

However, to recall, all these three variants comes with 5 inch HD display and octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor under the hood. It also features a 4,100 mAh battery, 13 MP camera, fingerprint sensor, and 4G VoLTE support, while it runs on MIUI 8 along with Android N Preview.

Having said this, as an introductory offer, the smartphone company has teamed up with Vodafone and offers 45 GB of 4G data for 5 months on buying 1 GB or greater data pack. Along with this, if you purchase the phone using YES Bank debit or credit cards, you would be getting an extra Rs 500 cash back. Other offers also include Rs 5,000 worth discounts on flight and hotel bookings from Goibibo.com and Rs 200 off on Kindle books.
