Xiaomi Redmi Pro2 Listed Online?

It looks like 6 people have already pre-ordered the device on a Taobao website in China.

 

As Xiaomi Mi 6 launch event is nearing by, we are witnessing more and more speculations about the next Redmi device, the Redmi Pro 2. Though nothing has been made official yet, we do keep witnessing such speculations, making it more interesting as every moment pass by. The recent speculation is about the price tag of the Redmi Pro 2.

According to a recent report published on XiaomiToday, the Redmi Pro 2 device has been listed on a Taobao website with price tag mentioned at 1599 CNY - 1799 CNY. This may respectively be for the standard and high variant of the device.

It is being said that the listing was shared on Weibo along with a screenshot and a couple of other details in Mandarin. Here’s the screenshot as shared by XiaomiToday:

Speaking about the much rumoured smartphone, we can see that the price tag has been increased by around 100 Yuan compared to its older brother. Also, it looks like the front panel design of Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 resembles that of the upcoming XIaomi Mi 6.

Having said this, the XiaomiToday.com also clearly mentions that the screenshot informs us of 6 people who have already pre-ordered the phone, which is pretty much shocking. Well there has been no official news on the existence of Redmi Pro2 yet.
