Mi Pad 3 Silently Listed On Xiaomi Website

The new tablet comes with MediaTek MT8176 processor with 4 GB RAM.

 

After almost two years since Mi Pad 2 entered the market, Xiaomi seems to be finally ready to bring its third instalment in the Mi Pad series of tablets to the public. The Mi Pad 3 has been listed on the company’s website without any official announcement of the same.

Speaking about the new tablet, it is worth noting that the exterior is very similar to the 2015 model with same unibody design. Even the display screen of 7.9 inch seems to be unchanged. In-fact, a recent post published on GSMArena suggests Mi Pad 3 as a refresh more than an upgrade.

However, what attracts us the new processor. The Mi Pad 3 comes with MediaTek MT8176 processor with two core clocked at 2.1 GHz and four clocked at 1.7 GHz. The device also features 4 GB RAM.

But, what’s going to be missed this time is the Windows version of the Mi Pad 3. We would be seeing only Android variant in the market with MIUI 8 out-of-the-box.

Other improvements include 6,600 mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera, and 64 GB ROM. Having said this, the Mi Pad 3 comes with a price of CNY 1,499. However, there seems to be no word on the availability yet.
