Lenovo Launches Moto G5 For Rs 12,000
The phone will be available for purchase from midnight.
Announced at MWC 2017, the Lenovo Moto G5 smartphone has finally hit the stores in India. The Moto G5 Plus' younger sibling comes with a metal body with removable back panel for easier battery access. Thanks to Xiaomi and LeEco's metal-clad handsets, Lenovo had to let go of plastic in its latest Moto smartphone. There's also a fingerprint sensor and a water repellent nano-coating.

The Moto G5 comes with a 5-inch Full HD screen. It is protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3. The handset is backed by the Snapdragon 430 chipset. It has 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and microSD card slot.


Lenovo has thrown-in a 13-megapixel camera in the mix. For selfies, you get a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In the connctivity department, the Moto G5 offers 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and A-GPS (Assisted GPS). The 2800 removable battery comes with rapid charging technology.


The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Moto G5 is priced at Rs 12,000, and will be available from online stores.
