Asus Launches ROG Strix GL553 Gaming Laptop

The laptop comes with a 15.6 inch display screen with anti-glare feature.

 

Asus has recently announced the launch of its new 15.6 inch gaming laptop dubbed as the ROG Strix GL553, under the company’s very own Republic Of Gamers series of laptops. The laptop features Full HD IPS display with anti-glare and crisp PPI. It also comes with a brushed, black aluminium top cover that features an illuminated ROG logo.

Speaking further on the technical edge, the laptop comes with the AURA RGB backlit keyboard which is claimed to be specially designed for gaming purposes.

The keyboard comes with 30-key roll over, anti-ghosting and a 2.5mm travel distance that mimics the style of desktop gaming keyboards. The WASD keys are specially marked and the arrow keys are offset for ease of finding without looking down. 

 

Having said this, the laptop also features the latest Intel 7th Gen processors, Nvidia GTX ‘Pascal’ graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 and up to three storage devices, or, two storage devices plus optical drive.

To recall the same laptop was unveiled back in February, this year, at the company’s ROG Store in Bangalore. However, there seems to be no official word on the price tag of the Asus ROG Strix GL553 laptop. We may have to wait until the company officially announces.
