Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 May Retain Dual Rear Camera Module
Also, the device may be powered by MediaTek Helio P25 SoC with eight cores.
A new rumour regarding Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 seems to be out of the basket in China recently, which suggests the possible technical specs a little contradict to what was rumoured earlier.
To remind you, the earlier rumour had suggested a single rear camera instead of the dual camera setup that was seen on the original Redmi Pro, along with the Snapdragon 660 processor by Qualcomm powering it. It is worth noting that, this processor is still unofficial.
However, the new report has something else suggesting us, and accordingly, we may see the dual rear camera module remaining in the upcoming device as well, since it has been the USP of the Redmi Pro devices. The new rumour also suggests two 12 MP sensors on the back of Redmi Pro 2.
Additionally, the device may be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 processor instead of the earlier rumoured Snapdragon 660. This new SoC, as per the new rumour, comes with octa core CPU with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and other four cores clocked at 1.6 GHz.
Apparently, the Redmi Pro 2 is alleged to come with an uni metal body and a 2.5D curved glass protecting the device’s display. Also, as per rumours, we may see the phone in two versions: 4 GB RAM and 64 GB, and the other with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, priced approximately around CNY 1,599 and CNY 1,799 respectively.
Having said this, we may expect the Redmi Pro 2 to go official by the end of this month, though the company has not yet announced the official launch date.
