Samsung Galaxy S8 Press Render Surfaces Online
The image shows the AI button while the home button seems to have been ditched, after all.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has been in the news for a while now with reports suggesting the smartphone to be launched at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event, to be held on March 29.
While rumours have been flowing over the stack about the upcoming flagship device, the company is definitely in a tough time where in the users’ trust and loyalty will have to be brought back.
Now, a recent press rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S8 shows that the new physical button may be present, pretty much like how it was rumoured earlier, also known as the virtual assistant Bixby button.
The picture comes out via tipster Evan Glass, also known as @evleaks, and the dedicated button will be integrated with the company’s very own AI assistant called Bixby. Thus, the name. However, we may have to wait until March 29 for the company to officially annnounce the new flagship.
Also, by seeing the image we can see that the smartphone has a very long and narrow display, which may actually turn out to be sporting 18:9 aspect ratio, unlike the standard 16:9. To give you more info, the LG G6 also features a 18:9 ratio display.
Additionally, the rumour about the home button being ditched may also turn out to be true. Well, the rendered image doesn’t show a home button. However, we may have to wait, as we told earlier, until March 29 for official announcements.
