Ricoh Launches Pentax KP Waterproof DSLR
The new DSLR camera comes with a 24 MP APS-C sensor with 27 point AF system.
Ricoh Imaging has recently announced the launch of its new portable APS-DSLR camera designed specifically for low light photography, dubbed as the Pentax KP for a price tag of $1,100. This translates to around Rs 74,800.
The new camera is being touted by the company for its very high sensitivity of the sensor, claiming ISO sensitivity all the way up to 819200. This should allow photographers to capture images even in no light.
Technically speaking, the Pentax KP comes with a 24 MP APS-C sensor with a 27-point autofocus system, along with Shake Reduction II system. The camera comes with a dustproof body and is said to withstand temperature as low as -10 degrees Celsius.
Along with this, the camera also includes an electronic shutter speed of 1/24000 second, burst shooting of 7 fps and a 3 inch LCD display. You also get a built-in WiFi system, and you can record videos in 1080p resolution.
