Upcoming Redmi Smartphone Spotted Online

Images of an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone have been spotted online in a post on Weibo.

 

It looks like a couple of images of an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone have been spotted online recently, through a post published on Weibo, recently. In the post, both front and back portions of a Xiaomi handset  are displayed clearly, according to a report on GSMArena.

With this leak coming out just after unveiling Mi Mix during the CES, we are pretty sure, there is something special cooking at Xiaomi. Playfuldroid.com reports that the smartphone in the live images may be an upcoming Redmi smartphone.

The post on Playfuldroid.com also reads that the smartphone leaked in the images is nothing but Redmi Note 4X. And, if that is really the case, we have already witnessed it being certified by Chinese TENAA, back in December 2016.

In the leaked images, if you can observe, there seems to be no fingerprint sensor on the rear side panel. This means, either the company has omitted the fingerprint scanner completely (which we feel the company would not do) or we might see the fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical home button itself.

However, as of now, there is no clear information as to which device this actually is and any further information on its technical aspect. We may have to wait a little more for details.
