CES 2017: Alcatel Launches A3 XL Smartphone With 6 Inch Screen
This a budget smartphone that comes with a 6 inch screen and runs on Android Nougat.
Alcatel has launched a new budget smartphone with a 6 inch display touchscreen at CES 2017, under the new ‘A’ series, christened as Alcatel A3 XL.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Alcatel A3 XL comes with a price tag of $200 which roughly translates to around Rs 13,600. The smartphone would be available for purchase in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America during the first quarter of 2017. However, it is being said that the same smartphone would be sold in Europe sometime during the second quarter.
While the name itself clearly tells us that the smartphone’s huge 6 inch screen is the main highlight, one more important fact to note is that it runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Other than these two features, others like an 8 MP rear camera, 1.1 GHz quad core MediaTek MT8735B processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, and 5 MP front facing camera do not seem to excite us in any way.
The smartphone also comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
