Asus Announces Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE For Rs 6,999

The smartphone comes with entry level features and may be a good option for first time smartphone users.

 

Asus has recently launched its budget segment 4G smartphone dubbed as the Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE for Rs 6,999. The smartphone comes with a premium metallic IMR hairline finish, measuring just 3.5 mm at its thinnest edge.

The smartphone also features an 8 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash, and 2 MP front facing camera. The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0, along with ZenUI on top of it. Along with this, as the name itself suggests, users get a 4.5 inch FWVGA display screen.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad core processor with 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB of ROM. In order to ensure that users are able to store all their data, ASUS offers an additional 100 GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years, according to a recent press release.

Commenting on the launch, Peter Chang, Region Head – South Asia & Country Manager, ASUS India said, “Through our smartphones, we aim to cater to a wide segment of users, and we endeavor to offer the differentiated ASUS technology even in mass segments. We are sure this smartphone will able to provide an enriching user experience and be appreciated by our users across the county.”

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE will be available online starting from Dec 27 across leading retail stores in two variants - Matte finish and Hairline finish.
