Nokia D1C Surfaces Online Once Again

This may be the first real-life image of the much rumoured smartphone from Nokia.

 

We already know that HMD Global, the new home of Nokia phones, will be launching Android based smartphones under Nokia brand. We have come across a couple of rumours and speculations regarding the upcoming Nokia smartphone that runs on Android as well.

While we have been hearing the name Nokia D1C for a couple of times now, a recent report on TheAndroidSoul suggests that the smartphone would come in two variants - one targeting the mid-range segment and another in the high-end range. Also, this time, we seem to have finally come across the smartphone’s first real-life photos being leaked, may be directly from the production facility in China.

In the image, we can see the front panel of a Nokia smartphone being held in the hand, and we can observe the Nokia branding as well. Also, selfie camera, earpiece, and proximity sensor can be seen on the front panel, just above the display.

We can also observe how thin the bezels are in the smartphone, while a 2.5D Curved glass seems to be protecting the touchscreen display.

Also, BGR has recently posted that, another leak showcases the firmware build of the device, and the name hints at Nokia E1, and not D1C. However, we still are not much clear on this yet.
