Users will be able to request up to Rs 2000 per order.
Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes to curb the black money. However good the motive was, its execution has been a complete mess. Cash crunch has hit the businesses across the nation and especially in villages people are finding it difficult to buy essentials. ATMs have longer lines than free Jio SIM booths. The worst part is that many senior citizens have collapsed in these never ending queues just to get their own money.
Thankfully, putting its exiting network to good use, Snapdeal is offering a way get up to Rs 2000 cash delivered at your doorstep. According to Economictimes, the e-commerce website has rolled out its Cash@Home service. Users can request up to Rs 2000 per order. It is reported that Snapdeal will be using the money received through its COD (Cash on Delivery) orders. The service is currently live in Gurgaon and Bangalore. It will soon be expanded in other cities. Snapdeal is charging a fee of Re 1 for every Cash@Home service. Oh, and contrary to your belief, Snapdeal won't be forcing any of its product down your throat.
