Nova Launcher Brings Pixel-Styled Search Bar

With the new Nova Launcher update v5.0, users can also swipe to open the app drawer, much like Pixel Launcher.

 

Nova Launcher has recently announced the launch of a few new features brings in the ‘Pixel’ feel to almost any Android smartphones. One of its developers Cliff Wade, has recently published quick change notes on his Google+ page.

The most highlighted feature that we can spot in the recent Nova Launcher is its Pixel-style search bar. Also, pretty much like the original Pixel Launcher, Nova Launcher users can also now simply swipe to open the app drawer.

The new update version 5.0 brings a new search view that features different tabs for Frequent, Recent, and New apps. Users are also said to get support for Android 7.1 Nougat’s launcher shortcuts.

Along with this, a couple of other new features including new ‘Timeout’ screen-lock method, new quick start feature, and many others. In-fact, some of these features have already been witnessed by many users who have registered for the beta version testing.
