Facebook Launches Parents Portal To Enable Kids’ Online Safety
Through this launch, FB is trying to give advices for parents who come there seeking help on children’s safety when they surf online.
Everyone loves spending time on Facebook; even the kids under 18 years. To strengthen this fact, Facebook has recently launched ‘Parents Portal’ after updating its Safety Centre and Bullying Prevention Hub recently. This launch has been made in-fact with a motive to help kids navigate safely around Facebook.
Speaking about the Parent’s Portal, it allows parents to understand about how Facebook works and give them advices as part of the Safety Centre.
Parent’s Portal also provides tips for parents on how to discuss with kids about safety measures that need to be taken while they surf online. Parents can also get expert resources and solution from around the world.
While the Parents Portal is said to be available in 55 languages, including 11 regional languages of India, it is also touted as being mobile friendly, along with having step-by-step videos for parents who visit the portal seeking help regarding their kids surfing online.
