New Haptik Update Brings SmartWallet And Other Features
Haptik 5.0 also features ‘Genius Mode’, powered by artificial intelligence that allows personalisation of services and offerings.
Haptik, the personal assistant app has recently received an update taking it to the version 5.0, which is considered as almost a relaunch for the company, after working on the update for over 6 months now.
Speaking about the new Haptik 5.0, the app now gets an in-built SmartWallet that clearly syncs with the wallet trend that’s taking on in the country ever since Prime Minister announced the demonetisation of INR 500 and INR 1000 currency notes.
According to a recent press release, the new SmartWallet allows users to complete commercial transactions with a single tap without having to leave the chat interface.
The new version also features an expanded partner ecosystem of over 25 category-leading brands across segments to include Uber, Zomato, BookMyShow, Goibibo, Cleartrip and UrbanClap among others.
Haptik 5.0 also features ‘Genius Mode’, a feature powered by artificial intelligence that allows personalisation of services and offerings. The technology (which can be turned off by users) curates and recommends services and offerings based on the users’ personality and transaction history on the app.
Commenting on the launch of Haptik 5.0, Aakrit Vaish – CEO, Haptik said, “Conversational Commerce and Chatbots have been the trending topics for a better part of 2016 and we believe that it is all the more relevant for the Indian market which is very different when compared to other developed or emerging markets. With Indians spending 75% of their time on smartphones on a text or chat interface, it has been our endeavour to improve that experience by leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Haptik 5.0 is a culmination of these elements which coupled with an ecosystem of category-leading service partners and a new built-in wallet will make it a one-of-its kind app in India.”
