Vivo Unveils V5 Smartphone With A 20-Megapixel Selfie Camera
Priced at Rs 17,980, the phone will hit the stores on 26th of November.
Vivo has launched the V5 smartphone with clear focus on selfie camera. Weird Japanese phones aside, this is the first mainstream phone to feature a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with flash. Ironically, the main camera is only 13-megapixel. The phone flaunts a classy metal unibody design. It comes in Crown Gold and Space Gray (sounds familiar?) hues.
The Vivo V5 features a 5.5-inch HD screen. The brand hasn't mentioned whether it is a regular LCD, IPS, or OLED. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset. It has 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and microSD card slot. On the connectivity front, you get 4G LTE, Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS. The phone has 3000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor. On the software side of things, it offers Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 2.6 on top.
The Vivo V5 will be up for pre-order on 16th of November. It will go on sale on 26th of this month with a Rs 17,980 price tag.
