Lenovo Announces Mid-Range Moto M In China

The handset features a metal unibody and OLED screen.

 

Lenovo has unveiled its next Moto handset in China. Dubbed Moto M, the new mid-range handset boasts of a metal unibody design. Compared to recent Moto phones, the Moto M is quite pleasant to look at. Thanks to the nano-coating, the handset can withstand accidental splashes of water.



The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P15 chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. You can expand it further via a microSD card slot. The Moto M features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen. Lenovo has thrown-in a 16-megapixel camera. It lacks OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), so don't expect great low light shots. For selfies, the Moto M is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the front.



The 4G VoLTE handset comes with two SIM slots. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on its back. The Moto M packs in 3050 mAh battery with Turbo Charging. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. THe Moto M will release in China on 11th of November. In its home country, the handset is priced at 1999 yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 20,000.
