Will OnePlus 4 Be Launched In 2017?

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 830 processor that is expected to be clocked in at 3.6 GHz while an octa core setup may be present.

 

It’s been two years since OnePlus launched its first budget flagship smartphone, the OnePlus One. Now, the company has brought in 2 more flagships already, and reports say that a new variant of its latest flagship, OnePlus 3 is in the works too. But, what about the Chinese company’s next flagship device?

Well, it seems like the company is already working on OnePlus 4 which is said to be launched in 2017. While this report comes from Weibo, we also have been hearing that the device might run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor and will be produced using the 10nm process by Samsung.

The smartphone is also expected to run on Android 7 Nougat, while a 4,000 mAh battery backs it.

To refresh your thoughts, OnePlus had announced earlier that the company would be working on only one flagship a year. So, since we have seen the OnePlus 3 this year, there is no doubt in witnessing OnePlus 4 in 2017.

However, as far as specifications are concerned, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor which is said to be used in the OnePlus 3 device, is still under testing. But, there are reports that again claim the new SoC to be clocked at 3.6 GHz while it could be having an octa core setup.

Having said this, we will have to wait and watch for an official announcement from the company regarding its next flagship device and pricing policy along with actual specifications.
