Xiaomi Unveils The Mi Air Purifier Pro In China

Xiaomi's biggest air purifier till date comes with an OLED display.

 

With pollution and electric waste taking toll on the environment, Air Purifiers are on the brink of becoming a necessity. Little wonder then, the Chinese brand is quite serious about this appliance space. Improving upon its Mi Air Purifier 2, Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Air Purifier Pro.

 
Taking the user feedback into consideration, the company has added an OLED screen to display the air quality in real-time. There's an LED ring around it that changes the colour depending on the air quality. For instance, green means that the air quality is great.

 
The Air Purifier Pro is bigger than the previous models in the series. It has CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 500m3/h. The manufacturer claims that it can take care of 60 square meters of indoor area. The machine comes with built-in temperature and humidity sensor. Xiaomi claims that its new laser particle sensor can detect particles as tiny as 0.3μm diameter.

 
Like most of Xiaomi's appliances, the Air Purifier Pro syncs with Mi Home app. Using your Android phone, you can power on or off the device remotely. The Mi Air Purifier Pro is priced at 1499 yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 15,000 in India.
