Indian Brand iBall Launches Poor Man's Yoga Book
Priced at Rs 15,000, the touchscreen laptop features a hinge that rotates 360 degrees.
Domestic mobile and PC maker iBall has announced a budget Windows laptop. Called the CompBook Flip-X5, the laptop features a 11.6-inch Full HD IPS (In Pane Switching) screen. What separates it from the crowd is its screen hinge that rotates all the way back.
The Flip-X5 is powered by a the Atom X5-Z8300 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. It comes with Intel HD Graphics 5300 graphics. You get 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The device has a 2 megapixel webcam for video calls. In terms of connectivity, you get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Mini HDMI port, and two USB ports. The laptop also features a 3.5 mm jack, mic, and dual Speakers. The device packs-in a 10,000 mAh battery. The Flip-X5 tips the scales at around 1.4 kg.
On the software side of things, you get Windows 10 operating system. With a Rs 15,000 price tag, the CompBook Flip-X5 competes with Asus' X205TA-Eeebook laptop. The Flip-X5 surely has an edge over Asus' laptop in terms of features, but lacks the brand trust the Taiwanese manufacturer has garnered.
