Lenovo K5 Note Receives VoLTE Update
This update makes the device compatible for true HD voice calling feature, available in Reliance Jio 4G Connection.
Lenovo had launched its K series smartphone, the K5 Note in August this year, and though we saw a tremendous activity in the social media about the smartphone's media capabilities and Theater Max feature, the device lacked the 4G VoLTE support.
However, the company has recently released a new update to the K5 Note smartphone, and the software update bring VoLTE support, which will enable users to make VoLTE calls through Reliance Jio network without actually downloading any application for conversion.
According to the company's claims, the software update has already started rolling out to units in India gradually, and should be soon available to all users in the country.
To get the update, we recommend you to go to Settings > About Phone, and then tap on System Update. The new update raises the software version to S312.
To recall, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note comes with 3 GB / 4 GB RAM, 5.5 inch FHD IPS Display, 64 bit Octa Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, along with 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front facing camera.
