Pokemon Go Gets New Feature; You Can Capture Rare Pokemons Easily
While the game developers have announced a new feature that makes catching rare Pokemons easier, we still have no clue regarding the 'tracking' feature.
The augmented reality game that stormed the smartphone gaming industry a couple of months ago has recently started to make noise again. While we reported yesterday that Gujarat HC initiated ban on the illegal download of the game in India, today we have an entirely new phase in the game.
The developer of the game, Niantic, has recently announced a couple of new features into the game, and now, it seems that players can easily catch some of the rarest Pokemons.
The company has announced that the new feature would actually grant a catch bonus when a player earns medals based on catching certain Pokemons. So, with this catch bonuses, users are expected to get better chances of capturing Pokemons related to the same type.
In-fact, the company gave an example in the official Pokemon Go Facebook page, stating - "as you reach a higher tier for the Kindler Medal, your bonus to catch Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix and Ponyta increases."
The Facebook post also adds in more details as - Trainers can work their way to a new tier by catching many Pokémon of the same type. If a Pokémon has multiple types, your bonus will be the average of your bonuses for each type. For example, Pidgey is both Normal and Flying type. Your bonus in this case would be the average of your Normal-type and Flying-type bonuses.
While the company has announced this possible roll out of the new feature soon, Facebook users have run the post over by various comments making fun of the company and the game. Having said this, there seems to be announcement yet regarding the tracking feature that no longer working.
