Astrum Launches Two New Budget Action Cameras

Price wise, both action cameras are dead cheap when compared to GoPro!

 

If you ever wanted to purchase a GoPro action camera, and its price tag held you back, you might have a chance now. Well, it's not that GoPro has come up with a price slash, but a technology company by name Astrum India has recently announced two Sports Action Camera that looks almost similar to the GoPro - SC120 and SC170... and interestingly, you can get them without burning a hole in your pocket.

Priced at INR 4,490 (SC120) and INR 9,790 (SC170), both models come with waterproof housing and gives sports enthusiasts the ability to capture adventures in real-time 1080P HD resolution.

He also added, "With ultra HD capability, multiple photo modes and resolutions, more mounting options, customers can now enjoy watching footage of their favorite fun activities at remarkable price point."

SC170 is capable of recording high-quality full HD footage at 1080P @30fps and HD video at 720p/60fps and capture photos using 12MP 170 degree wide angle glass lens. The camera comes with a 1.5 inch LCD display and removable rechargable Li-ion battery that provides up to 90 minutes of life.

On the other hand, SC120 comes with a 5 MP shooter with 120 degree wide angle glass lens. The camera features a 2 inch LCD diplay and a Li-ion battery that provides up to 120 minutes of life.

Both the camera models come with built-in microphone, burst mode and self-timer while they weight around 60 grams. Speaking about the connectivity, the SC170 model comes with WiFi support while SC120 lacks it.
