Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 4 With 4100 mAh Battery
Alongside the launch of Redmi Note 4 for the Chinese market, the company has made Xiaomi Mi 5 available on Flipkart.

Xiaomi fans are in for a treat; the Chinese handset maker just launched the Redmi Note 4 for their home market, with some notable additions including a metallic unibody, a long lasting 4,100 mAh battery, and Decacore MediaTek Helio X20 processor, which has been coupled with 3GB of RAM, and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The handset is known to be available in two variants; 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, and the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage. In terms of pricing, the 16GB variant is estimated to be priced around (CNY 899) INR 9,000, and the 64GB variant is for (CNY 1,199) INR 12,000. The sales shall start on August 26, on the company's website mi.com.
For the tech geeks, the Note 4 sports some interesting features; 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401ppi, expandable memory up to 128GB for both editions, MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0, and the hybrid sim-slot, meaning the other slot can be used for additional memory space, or as second slot of another SIM card.
The fingerprint scanner makes an appearance on the back panel, below the slot of the LED-flash at the rear end camera. Speaking of cameras, there is a 13MP rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and f/2.0 aperture, with the front camera being a 5MP shooter, with capabilities to take images at up to 85-degrees angle. The rear camera can shoot videos at 1080p at 30 fps. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, and Glonass. It measures 151x76x8.35mm and weighs 175 grams. The Redmi Note 4 shall be available in gold, grey, and silver colors.
Xiomi has more to be happy about; the Mi5 is up for sale on mi.com and flipkart. With a dropped price tag of INR 22,999, there are top-end specifications to boot, like Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB RAM, Adreno 530 GPU, full-HD display and more. After a INR 2000 price cut, this handset is up for some serious grabs, as the list of specifications are long, lucrative and perfect for most tech needs.
There’s 16MP rear camera with 4-axis OIS and a 5MP front camera, for those who like to click pictures, the 129gm 3D glass body for looks and easy carry, and the Quick Charge 3.0 so that the handset doesn't remain locked up for too long, on the charger cable. Also, some of the communications with the handset can be done using the full-feature NFC capabilities as well.
